Parangtrits beach is the one of famous beach in Jogjakarta, Parangtritis is about 35 km from the jogjakrta city, an to get there we must drive for 45 minutes driving.

Parangtrits is have a mystery, cause all of the joga's people is believe if at the Parangtritis is the Quen Of South (Ratu Kidul) belongs. The Kingdom of ratu Kidul is at the Parangtritis Sea. The Mythology about Nyri Roro Kidul (Ratu Kidul) tell us about the relationship of Nyi Roro Kidul with Sultan of Jogjakarta. Every Sultan Of Jogjakarta is become the husband of Nyi Roro Kidul, at the Parangtritis area we can find a place that guard by abdi dalem ( Sultan's Soldier) who guarding the place where the Sultan and Nyi Roro Kidul ussually met. At this place refer from the local people have mystique energy.

The Local People is believe there is a tunnel that conecting from the Kraton Jogjakarta (Sultan Palace) until to this Place. The Jogjakrta people have the believe there is a connection between the Merapi Mountain, Sultan Palace, and Parangtrits Beach, an many of them believe if three place connected by tunnel.

If You visiting the parangtritis Beach you may not use green clothes because the mythology of the Parangtritis beach tell if anybody go to Parangtritis with Green clothes will be eliminated by Nyi Roro Kidul, cause the green Clothes is the favourite color of the Queen, anybody wearing green clothes it will be kdinaping bay the Quen and bring them to the Quen Palace to become her slave.
